Week 2 Reflection: Past, Present, and Future!
Time machine ride
Hi, meet again, this time I want to talk about reflection in the second week of the “Generasi Gigih” lesson, this time it’s related to time, the question is exciting, right, if that’s the case.
The first question is, Past: How much did you know about the subject before we started? The subject that will be studied in this second week is related to database design and how to make the design into a database that we can use using SQL code. I’ve studied SQL and Database Design since I entered college, so it’s not too foreign of course. In my current job (Web Programmer) I also definitely use SQL to create a database that I will use in a project that I will be working on for my company. So I’m used to using SQL in designing databases.
The second question is, Present: How do you feel about your work this week (homework, assignment)? What parts do you particularly like? Dislike? Why? What did/do you enjoy about this piece of work? I like the lessons and homework given. After all, they can refresh my brain about SQL Code where now I more often design databases using interface-based tools because they are easier to use. SQL Code will be very useful when we are going to create a project that is related to the database because usually in a controller there are queries that do connect directly to the database.
The Third Question is, Future: How can you use this knowledge in future work? This lesson will always be useful in the future because the job of a Backend Engineer is always related to processing and providing data from databases or other sources. Where later the data that has been processed can be directly consumed properly by the Frontend Engineer to create harmony in the work in building a system or application.
That’s all from me in the second week of reflection this time, hopefully, the information I share can be useful and get full points too, of course, “Yuk Bisa Yuk”. Bye, everyone.
